GUTML and SCC’s Loss Is New Zealand’s Gain
From the day we started this rag back in October 2006, HT Contributor Dr. Neeko has provided us with his wit, wisdom and scorching-hot guitar playing. In a few weeks, Neeko aka Nick will be stepping down from his posts in both Give Us The Money Lebowski and Scarecrow Collection to take a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in New Zealand. If y’all ask nicely, hopefully Nick will continue to contribute around these parts and check in from time to time on life with the Kiwis.

Before Nick takes off he’ll be performing one more time with his two bands. On September 19 you can catch the final Give Us The Money Lebowski show at Daniel Street Club in Milford, CT. Meanwhile, Scarecrow Collection plays their final show with Nick this Saturday night at Mexicali Live in Teaneck, NJ. Be sure to check out these bands while you still can.

I’ve heard this is all a smokescreen and that Nick is actually joining Vampire Weekend starting in 2009.
A Scarecrow Collection representative declined comment when contacted by Hidden Track.
Nick (“Satanist of the Stratocaster) has been the Thursdaynightallstars favorite guest artist. We wish him all the best on his new adventure.
Good luck in New Zealand budro. Eat some kiwi. The fruit or the bird. Either one. Preferably at the same time.
I actually never liked this kid or his subpar guitar playing. Also, I think his last name has too many vowels.
Is his opportunity playing with Flight of the Choncords? Because if not, then who cares?
Maybe now SCC will win a Jammy.

Truly a disappointing departure…hopefully not a permanent one. The super sick MIXXTAPE will opening the festivities Saturday night @ Mexicali! Should be a good one!!!
