Hart Attack: Mickey Hart Wanted On Assault Charges
It’s not usually good news when a “celebrity” finds themselves on the front page of TMZ.com and that’s certainly the case for Grateful Dead / Mickey Hart Band drummer Mickey Hart. According to TMZ’s post, a warrant has been issued for the drummer after an attendee of the Terrapin Hill Farm Harvest Festival, held in Harrodsburg, Ken. this past weekend, alleged that Hart assaulted them.

TMZ was told by “multiple law enforcement sources” that the Rhythm Devil, whose real name is Michael Hartman, allegedly assaulted the person at the Farm on September 8th. Details are sketchy but TMZ says “it’s standard practice in Kentucky to issue a warrant as soon as an alleged victim decides he or she wants to press charges.” We’re sure we haven’t heard the end of this story. Next up for the Mickey Hart Band is an appearance at Yonder Mountain String Band’s Harvest Music Festival in Ozark, Ark.

Yeah the Facebook picture was just a premonition of events to come. Unfortunately, the story is true.
