As the lucrative holiday season approaches, many gift-worthy reissue and archival releases are starting to be announced. Ween revealed the details of At The Cat’s Cradle, 1992, the band’s first live album from the days when Gene and Dean toured the country accompanied by only a DAT machine. This full show CD and bonus DVD will be available on November 11.

Also, the Zappa Family Trust made Joe’s Menage, which features highlights from a previously unreleased recording of a concert at Williamsburg, Virginia on November 1, 1975, available for purchase online. [via Jambands]

Paul McCartney’s solo work has never been thought of as innovative, but then he released an out-of-left field ambient album with Youth of the Killing Joke called Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest under the pseudonym Fireman that was way ahead of its time. 1998′s Rushes wasn’t as good, but ten years later the pair returns with Electric Arguments on November 17.
