HT faves Umphrey’s McGee’s second annual UMBowl takes place this Saturday night at Park West in Chicago. While tickets are long gone, you can watch the action live for $9.99 through iClips. You’ll also be able to watch a previously unreleased set from Summer Camp 2010 (5/29) on demand.
Unlike last year, iClips viewers will not be able to participate in voting, which we’re glad to see as those who paid $99 to attend should be the only ones with that honor.

Finally, Strangefolk bassist Erik Glockler sat in with Assembly of Dust this past Friday night in Portland, ME. Glockler, who opened the show as part of Dirigo, joined his old band mate Reid Genauer, and the rest of AoD, for the Strangefolk classic Rachel at Port City Music Hall. Genauer came out during Dirigo’s set for Up On Cripple Creek.
