White album – playing the birthday song has been a family tradition in my house on birthdays our entire life. Can’t wait to pass that one on to the next generation.
Magical Mystery Tour!
Very tuff call but Im gonna have to go with Rubber Soul
Revolver. Have worn out too many copies of that on many mediums,.
gotta be revolver.
The Beatles – Abbey Road! Nothing beats “Something.” Plus it has such a memorable cover!
Have to go with Revolver. It seems like when contemporary musicians cover The Beatles, it’s a song from this album – and Eleanor Rigby is far and away the most teased song of all time (IMO). It would be great to hear the original on vinyl, along with Abbey Road and The White Album.
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
Magical Mystery Tour. First Beatles album I ever listened to — special place in my heart!
The White Album !!!!
the dice roll says Magical Mystery Tour so that’s my answer favorite today
the white album, every sunday morning starts with that and coffee, and tylenol.
Abbey Road has always been my favorite.
Favorite: Have to go with Abbey Road, if only because last part of the b side is probably the best stretch of music ever recorded. Most underrated album is definitely Magical Mystery Tour.
Really tough call. Right now I’ll call it “Revolver” with
“Abbey Road” a CLOSE second.
Just pick one? Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm………..
Rubber Soul
Revolver
Abbey Road
Trick Question! How can you chose just one.
The Beatles (aka White Album)
Did they number the 180g release like the original vinyl was?
Hands down – Revolver. I spun my copy last night and realized it was the UK version – missing ‘And Your Bird Can Sing. I was temporarily heart broken.
With all due respect to what came after, “A Hard Day’s Night” is my choice for its charm, joy, and simple perfection. And swingin’ Ringo!
Rubber Soul & Revolver technically were recorded at the same time and therefore could be classified as one album. However, Revolver is the only logical choice here.
Abbey Road. “Something” is my favorite Beatles song as it always reminds me of my college girlfriend.
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is my personal favorite, although they are all great.
revolver is my favorite and ironically is the only one i don’t have on vinyl, so i’d really like to win that one.
My favorite changes from time to time, but I always come back to Abbey Road. True masterpiece.
backed into a corner, Sgt. Peppers
Revolver. It was the first Beatles album I ever heard and the first one I ever owned.
Revolver. Great beginning. Great Ending. Awesome songs.
Revolver. Revolver. Revolver.
They’re all great, but Abbey Road is the one… somehow despite not getting along anymore, they cranked out one of the most timeless pieces of music anybody’s ever created.
The While Album!!
Abbey Road. I have a son named Maxwell. His first concert was the Fab Faux playing – you guessed it – Abbey Road.
Revolver
Abbey Road! Love the second side medley.
Yellow Submarine – It’s All Too Much is a great tune
side B of abbey road is my favorite album side ever!
The Beatles perfected perfect but Abbey Road is the perfectist of them all.
It has to be Abbey Road for me. The medley to end the album is one of the most masterfully-done side of music to ever be put to record!
The first full Beatles album I heard was Magical Mystery Tour, so that will probably always be my favorite.
The White Album….one song sealed it for me – “Helter Skelter”
Abbey Road.
The Beatles was the first Beatles album I bought and played to death. It is still my favorite to this day. Although, I love all the albums pretty much equally.
The White Album, so many wonderful intricate sounds going on throughout that album, it kind of forces you to sit down and close your eyes and absorb the music.
Thanks for this great giveaway! If I had to pick a favourite, then it would probably have to be the White Album. It really is a treasure trove full of fantastic songs and ditties, showing all of the individual Beatles’ talents and musical hearts, as well as displaying their fantastic ensemble skills. A real showcase of everything the Beatles were – the greatest band of musicians ever!
white album. perfect collage of pop, weird, psychedelic, epic, experimental music that changed everything.
Abbey Road. It’s a complete album. The first side it excellent, and the second side-the medely-is perfection.
Revolver. Psychedelic masterpiece.
White Album for sure! Nothing beats WMGGW
Magical Mystery Tour because it puts me on a trip!
Tough choice but “Abbey Road” is my favorite. It was my first Beatles album, and is a top notch listen from start to finish.
The White Album was the first one that I got into so I’d say it’s my favorite one. Too hard to pick one though.
At the moment, Yellow Submarine, b/c my kid loves it
The White Album is hands down my favorite. Super heavy and just my favorite time in Beatles history, they were killing it.
grew up on abby road, my parents had it, they wouldnt let me hear maxwells silver hammer for fear that i might get a bad idea and belt my teacher. seriously!
I’m going to say Abbey Road. However if you ask me in twenty minutes what’s my favorite, it would probably be a completely different answer. Too hard to choose!
So hard to pick just one, I’ve got several favorite Beatles, but I guess I’ll go with Sgt. Peppers. It plays well as a cohesive album.
The Beatles (White Album) for sure!
White Album for me, just slightly over Revolver
The White Album stands out for me. It’s often the one I reach for first when I need a Beatles fix.
The White Album, incredible creativity in that album.
Revolver
Tie: Sgt. Peppers & White Album. Sgt. Peppers because it’s the greatest example of an album as a complete work of art; White Album because it’s their music, stripped to the core.
So hard to choose! Either Sgt. Peppers or Revolver, but I’ll go with Sgt. Peppers.
Let it be is my favorite
Revolver is my favorite.
White album is my favorite…by far!
Abbey Road – my (cliche I know) desert island album.
sgt. Peppers first and fav
Hmmmmmm,Thats a pretty hard choice. The Beatles a.k.a. The white Album would be my favorite. Man I love the horn section on Savoy Truffle…
I can’t believe no one has said my favorite: Rubber Soul
Every morning before school when I was in the third grade, I would listen to Abbey road. Since then I have been a fan of many types of music but Abbey road is still my favorite album of all time. The end of “I want you (she’s so heavy)” might be my favorite song or part of a song by the Beatles.
Abbey road
no brainer – Rubber Soul. can play it anytime, anywhere, for anyone, the whole album through
Abbey road
Abbey Road was my first Beatles album, and is my favorite. The second side of the album is perfectly constructed and is a reminder that great albums are more than just songs.
abbey road, the best start to finish
I think Revolver is my favorite. Its the first glance in to what they would become after years of touring; a band free to record songs they never had to pull off live and therefore could get as ambitious with arrangements as they wanted. Songs like Eleanor Rigby, Tomorrow never Knows, Yellow Submarine and Gooday Sunshine are so drastically different stylistically yet still maintain artistic merit and popular appeal as a whole. They would go on to push the boundaries of studio recording much farther than on Revolver but it’s here that they finally became The Beatles, the best band that has ever existed.
Tough call here… gotta go with Abbey Road
Is there a better piece of music than the 2nd side of Abbey Road? Probably not!
It’s got to be The White Album. A long deep double album that takes a while to fully appreciate. Sure The Beatles were disintegrating as a group at this time, but the diversity of songwriting and styles is like a history of popular music and would be influential for decades. Try Happiness is a Warm Gun or Cry Baby Cry, Martha My Dear or Julia for a taste of this album’s scope.
Tough question. At first i was thinking that i might like the white album better than abbey road, but i think im gonna have to go with abbey road.
this is easy for me.
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
probably IMO the best album of all time.
Abbey road is my favorite! But they’re all good.
Gotta go with Revolver.
Abbey Road but its close
The Beatles (White Album) Little of everthing on that album
My favourite album is Revolver. It has the great songs like “Taxman” “I’m Only Sleeping” and “Eleanor Rigby”
Abby Road and Sgt Peppers are pretty much flawless pieces. However, I find myself listening to Rubber Soul more often than the others. The melodies on Rubber Soul are what “slightly” set it apart and make it no. 1 for me, to each his own though.
The White Album has to be my favorite album in the Beatles library, as it demonstrates the absolutely incredible talent that was “The Beatles”.
Hard question, but like many, i have found Abbey Road to be the most iconic Beatles album in my life. But who doesnt enjoy a good Yellow Submarine?
The White Album
Abbey Road – Side 2 is a musical triumph.
Rubber Soul
Rubber Soul was the first album I received for a christmas present after asking for Hard Day’s Night. Was initially disappointed because I wasn’t that familiar with any of the songs with the exception of Michelle which was playing on the radio alot. This album ended up being my favorite Beatles album with all the songs bringing back great memories of those days and times.
Abbey Road !
My favourite is The White Album
Standard choice… but Abbey Road. Second side…
Abbey Road is my favorite LP it is a Masterpiece of Rock and Roll!
The White Album- greatest from start to finish
Revolver is my favorite, sounds different than any other album ever
Love Revolver! Good day sunshine!!
I love The White Album
Revolver is numero uno, imho.
revolver
Revolver.. the mono copy I bought for $2.64 in August, 1966 has been showing its age lately.
My favorite album is the White Album. Its a great mix of songs.
My favorite record is the White Album
Revolver is my favorite album.
Abbey Road is my favorite Beatles album.
Revolver and there’s nothing else to say
Abbey Road is my all-time favorite Beatles album, and always will be. It is also my all-time favorite record, there will be nothing like good ol’ Abbey.
I love this album because it’s the Beatles at their best, and it’s also definitely one of the greatest final albums of any band that I’ve seen.
My favorite tracks:
“Come Together”, “Something”, “Here Comes The Sun”, and of course the legendary Abbey Road Melody to finish off this great album.
Abbey Road!
This is not Here!
Revolver my favoutite, just so different
Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band has my greatest emotional connection…#2 Abbey Road…#3 White Album…#4 Revolver
Revolver is no1.
Abbey Road for production no2
The White no4
A hard days night. The put beatles sound.
Rubber Soul is my favourite.
White Album is my favorite
Revolver all sons great from start to finish.
Abbey road second for the production.
The White 3rd.
Rubber Soul 4.
The White Album has to be the best album of all-time.
There is more captivating, engrossing, enthralling, exciting, fascinating, gripping, interesting, intriguing, riveting, spellbinding and different styles of music on that ONE album than most artist manage to produce over an entire career!
“Revolver” is my all-time fave. “Here, There and Everywhere” is a song of such melody and romance…you just drift away. “She Said, She Said” is mystical and tells of the thin line between life and death. “For No One” reminds me of lost love and how sad it can be. Universal themes in the fabric of our lives!!
You guys nailed it. Revolver, The Beatles, and Abbey Road are the best.
I would have to say Revolver but picking your favorite Beatles album is like picking your favorite child.
Revolver is my all time favorite album by The Beatles or anyone else.
Revolver…..like many others…..but so understandable….
