HT Review: Disco Biscuits @ Terminal 5 – The Show Must Go On

Adding to the music was the incredible laser show from Johnny R. Goode and the Bisco lighting crew. The lasers, which debuted earlier this year at Camp Bisco 9, were brought out once again and painted the large multi-level layout of Terminal 5. With grids and beams of yellows and reds, the venue was painted as an amazing canvas that was set aglow.

Adding to the difficutly of the evening, a set from Raekwon, who was originally scheduled to open, was postponed to set break causing a longer than normal delay in the action while crews struggled to get him set up and ready. As expected chants of “Wu-Tang” warmly greeted the rap artist who did a short but high energy set filled with fan favorites including a RIP chant for Ol’ Dirty Bastard before breaking out a version of his famous Shimmy Shimmy Ya.

All and all, the Disco Biscuits and the fans banded together to create a highly successful beginning to the end of the year.  For those lucky enough to attend tonight’s show, old friend Sam Altman takes on drum duties in what promises to be a night of classic entertainment.
