I lost my wallet at The Roots. I think it fell out of my pocket when I stood up. I looked around for 45 minutes missing the whole set basically. Everyone around me who I thought wouldn't give a fuck about anything but the music, were all breaking out cell phones and lighters trying to help me. It was quite a surreal experience in todays world.

Never ended up finding it but I did find 2 cell phones. I brought them to lost and found the next day and STILL no wallet.

3 weeks later I got a random small envelope in the mail from someone in Athens Georgia and there was my wallet!!

It was missing the 300 bucks it had in it, but I made my peace with that in leu of not having to replace all my cards, license, ect.

Anyway just thought that was a cool story

"Well, we know our core audience is the jamband crowd, so we definitely want to make them happy and you can never go wrong with Umphrey’s, the Biscuits and Sound Tribe."

Uh, yeah so then why are UM, STS9 and Phix all playing at overlapping times???

"They’ve opened the festival up to an entirely new audience who weren’t aware of our eclectic little festival."

Lovely, so I can expect to see even more frat guys from small NE liberal arts schools with A&F t-shirts.

Am I the only one who could care less about headlining commercial bands that were last good 10-15 years ago???
