A little bit of video to show the vibe:

Artist & Title: Umphrey’s McGee – The Linear
Date & Venue: 2010-03-12 First Avenue, Minneapolis MN
Taper & Show Download: Adam Downs

Closing out this week’s edition is one of the newer additions to the Umphrey’s McGee original repertoire. The Linear has been a work in progress, the first performances were instrumental and the last two have had added lyrics, the second time through had some somewhat significant changes to the phrasing. It’s a catchy tune with some fantastic words from Brendan Bayliss. UM has some international travel to do in the next couple of weeks, appearing first at Jam In The Dam for three shows and then two sets at Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia.
