This past Saturday was Fan Appreciation Night at The Paradise with The Brew. The band had setlist writing contests, t-shirt design contests, and judging by the crowd noise at the conclusion of these tunes, the fans were indeed very much appreciative. This audio selection features some Led Zeppelin with a little Brew original in the middle. The Brew play tonight with The Heavy Pets in Atlanta.

A & T: Cowboy Junkies – Don’t Let It Bring You Down, Working On A Building
Date & Venue: 2009-10-14 The Barns at Wolf Trap, Vienna VA
Taper & Show Download: su6oxone
When I hear a female sing Don’t Let It Bring You Down, I’m immediately brought back to the seduction scene in American Beauty with the Annie Lennox version playing in the background. This one is good too, and is followed by a nice performance of a Cowboy Junkies original. November will bring the Cowboy Junkies all over Canada on their C’est What? tour, starting November 18th at Festival International de Jazz de Montreal.
