Reminds me of when I saw Rush twice on the Roll The Bones tour, first at Nassau and again at MSG. They played the exact same show, note for note, right down to the stage banter. It's a great show, but when a band has such a deep catalog, why not offer a rare deep cut at least once in awhile?

I have to agree with the fans who wrote this letter. AC/DC have an incredible arsenal of songs at their disposal but all they do is play the same songs night after night without any change at all. You can't take a tour through the same US states twice within 12 months and expect people to turn up without doing something different. And the attendance levels at recent shows is proving this point. AC/DC don't understand that their best songs aren't the so-called classics. So like the letter-writers said, play Thunderstruck and keep half the crowd happy and then pull out some less played material that sends the other half home happy. As it stands, the casual fans have seen them and won't go back, and there's nothing to attract the hard core fans. Change the setlist AC/DC.

That's funny you mention that. My buddy and I went to see AD/DC last year at the Garden and he got us skybox tickets from his job. A couple of the guys in the box were these huge fans and seen them 30+ times and were even trying to make a documentary about the band and the fans.

We asked them about the setlists and it hadn't even occurred to them that they might change them night to night. They weren't the least bit irritated that it was always the same. In fact, it was like they enjoyed comparing the same show to the other ones and nitpicking the precise differences and mistakes each night, and awaiting for the perfect execution.

They also liked comparing one tour to the next and the big highlight of seeing them on different tours was the stage props, video, and ordering of the songs.

Anyway, it was my first time seeing them and I thought they put on one of the better big huge rock shows I've seen (although that's not very many). It sure beats KISS, that's for sure. Those guys suck.
