Last week I wrote about the feud between supposed Lollapalooza lineup leaker Lolla Leaks (@LollaLeaks) and the event’s founder Perry Farrell (@perryfarrell). The alleged “Anonymous Lollapalooza Insider” managed to draw out the ire of Farrell who was not happy about the information, whether accurate or not, being disseminated on Twitter. And it turns out the person behind Lolla Leaks was bullshitting everyone the whole time.



Taking to his Tumblr page, linked in the tweet above, the leaker came clean that, “I’ve been fucking with you this whole time.” The person goes on to explain the reasoning behind the “experiment,” taking shots at other media outlets and journalists that reported the leaks as fact. Lolla Leaks also mentioned the “respect” had for Farrell and that the account “meant no harm.”
