Thanks for all the GSW posts. I grew up in Ridgewood, NJ and saw God Street at an earth day event at graydon pool in 86 or 87 or 88. Can’t remember exactly. Afterwards I ended up at a house party where they were playing in the back yard. Ed’s house perhaps? It was the first time I had seen a real band so up close I could touch them. Anyway, it was a formative event as I got the bug to play music and go see live shows. From then on it was trips into the city to wetlands and nightingales. One never realizes the impact one has on those around them. GSW’s impact on me lasts until this very day.

you are a force to be reckoned with Mike. thank you for all you do and have done for the band and for living so gracefully with MS.

Scotty – thanks for your investment in GSW and Mike W. It’s a time in our lives when real magic happened…glad to see it still resonates with others today.
