About 12 people have sent me a link to an inspired, a capella version of 12 Days of Christmas by a group called Straight No Chaser. And you know what? It really is dyn-o-mite, so if you haven’t seen it, this’ll do you right this morning:

That MerleFest lineup looks sweeter than Walter Payton. Do I dare go to North Carolina for some fun? Probably not, but it still looks awesome.
I’m really pulling for the Paradise. They just shut down both Avalon and Axis on Lansdowne St so they can tear em down and build one giant fuck fest of a night club in the image of live nation’s most sterile venues.
BOSTON NEEDS THE PARADISE
merlefest looks phenomenal!
The Toto tune to ’12 days’ was great on that clip!
put the kiddies to bed. played santa. tippin a Dead Guy Ale and hittin the hay.
merry christmas to all of you HT’ers.
cheers.
goff.
That Tom Waits tour info HAS to be dated & I’d wager incorrect. I saw him in Louisville & Chicago on that run on those days listed, summer ’06. Got my hopes up though…
Interesting. I saw that post on The Weight, and figured Waits had decided to tour since he had been talking about it recently: http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/music/la-et-tomwaitsweb13dec13,1,6076834.story?coll=la-entnews-music
But you are correct, The Weight must have picked up an old story and posted it on Monday. Bastards!
Scott,
Please accept my apologies for the outdated Tom Waits tour info. I, like you, look to other websites for my sources of information.
I pulled the tour dates from the following story dated 12/17/2007:
http://encore.celebrityaccess.com/index.php?encoreId=108&articleId=24276
I can’t speak for what led them to pick this story up as new Waits dates. But I bit on it.
Thanks for keeping us honest makeithappen77.

No problem Dave, Happy Holidays. And here’s hoping Waits announces some more dates soon!
