Monday’s Hors d’Oeuvres

Thanks to my DVR I was able to watch The Police’s quick performance over and over again last night, and in so doing I missed the rest of the Grammys.

Oh well, I hear I didn’t miss too much. Regardless of what may or may not have happened last night, let’s start off the week with some linkage:

What’s what, see any good shows or interesting links for us this fine morning?

  1. Speaking of the Police, this looks interesting:

  2. Thanks for the links, MiH77…that Police Rehearsals link does look pretty damn interesting. Let’s hope the rehearsal lasts longer than 3 minutes, or however long they were out there last night. I mean, Carrie Underpants and that blonde lesbian frontperson from Rascal Flatts got three times as much airtime as Sleeveless Sumner, Drumming Ted Danson and the Guy Playing Guitar That Looked Like He Didn’t Wanna Be There.

As for Jerry…well, that’d be a tougher reunion. But thanks for the clips.

  3. I love Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead. I also love Rakin and Eric B. and Rakim.

By the way, “AV Club” is aptly named. I haven’t even heard of – let alone seen a single frame of – 85% of those movies. (Molvern Caller? The Limey? He made some of those up. I call BS. I’ll be over at IMDB.com if you need me) Oh, and he left out “In Your Eyes” which – thanks to John Cusak’s boombox – makes every single woman above the age of 30 climax upon hearing the first two notes.
