My Morning Jacket promised no repeats at this weekend’s Red Rocks shows, so you just knew they had to dig a little deep for each setlist. Last night the Louisville band kicked off the weekend with a rarity-heavy performance that featured takes on Elton John’s Rocket Man, Erykah Badu’s Tyrone, INXS’s Never Tear Us Apart and Rock The Casbah by The Clash. For tonight’s show John Oates of Hall and Oates will sit in with MMJ according to a tweet from Oates’s Twitter account.
