NPR to Stream Bonnaroo Performances

NPR has announced today that its NPR Music Website will broadcast select sets live from Bonnaroo next weekend on June 11 – 13. The website has teamed up with member stations KUT Austin, The Current from Minnesota Public Radio and WFUV New York to present more than 40 full sets from the likes of The Dave Matthews Band, The Dead Weather, Kings of Leon, the Disco Biscuits , Phoenix, The Avett Brothers, Jimmy Cliff, The Flaming Lips (performing Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon), Tenacious D, Jay Electronica, The Gossip, Dan Deacon, LCD Soundsystem and John Prine.

The audio-only webcasts will run from 1PM EDT until around 2AM on all three days. Hosts include Bob Boilen, host and creator of All Songs Considered and its “Live in Concert” series; Rita Houston of WFUV; KUT’s Andy Uhler; and The Current’s Jill Riley.  You can download NPR’s Bonnaroo Mix 2010 for a taste of what you can expect.
