Open Thread: Did You Score Phish Tickets?
Music Today has started sending out notices of regret and confirmation to those who entered the lottery for tickets to Phish’s upcoming Fall Tour. How did you fare? Let us know by leaving a comment below.

My friend got four tickets to nights 1 and 2 at MSG… No word on what kind of seats they are. It sounds like a lot of the seats they are giving out are crappy seats which kind of sucks.
2 for portland…no complaints here but still need Albany and MSG
4 tickets for Syracuse (where I live) and my buddy scored 2 for the 1st night of Albany (one of which is now mine)….Albany is behind the stage but who cares??!!!?
Some people got good seats. My friend got 2 floor for Syracuse.
Got both albany’s 3 tix each and Detroit 2 tix. only request i didnt get was MSG.
Got 4 ticket for Portland – section CC – behind the stage.
Wife and I both put in for 2 each for Two nights philly and last two nights of msg.
Got sweet seats stage right section 64 at MSG…nothing else
Know I got two tix…charge went through…no e-mail yet. My sister got 2 c-ville of the 4 nights she put in for. I put in for 6 shows…and then booked a trip out of town the weekend of the msg shows…I hope I got Albany or my wednesday MSG…so spent…too spent! lol
I’m an idiot and didn’t read the part where you were supposed to buy multiple tickets to shows in one transaction. I did it in two and probably got disqualified or lowered down the priority list. Gotta read the directions
My wife and I were both totally blanked on this lottery. IN fact, since 3.0 I have been able to score exactly two tickets from the on-line presale – 2 lawns to Great Woods. Jeez, thanks guys.
Shut out all three nights at MSG. Oh, well, up at 7:30 am to get ready for the 8:00 am (Pacific) on-sale Friday. Hopefully, all the people on the East Coast will be stuck at work and I can get all 3 nights! :-P
I got 1 show out of 3, ordered 2 tix apiece. I placed my order 4 days into the 8 day period. This is the first time I got lottery tix myself, without having a friend try also. However, the 1 show I got tix for, I got floor seats, in the center section, in the front… which is stellar.
4 for 4 in the phish ’09 ticket lotteries. THIS TIME, I requested 4 tickets to SYRACUSE, and I received 4 Tickets to Syracuse! —–saa-weet! See you in ‘Cuse!
I scored 2 for Thur night MSG! Seats are actually decent….not on the floor, but I’m in section 89 which is in the lower level.
Didn’t get anything for 4 other shows I tried for.

i have NEVER gotten tix through the lottery system. and i have never requested more than 6 tickets in any lottery. it seems they shared the wealth a little better this time around. Noone seems to have gotten thier entire request filled. Maybe phish needs to get more tickets? i don’t know but i am bummed. i just want to dance, man.
went for both philly and all MSG for 2 tix each night. only got second night MSG for both tickets. my brother went all MSG and both albany, only got 2 tickets to first night albany
Got 4 seats in 402 at 3rd night of MSG. It is literally the back right corner as far away as you can get. But beggars can’t be choosers.
shut out on charlottesville presale…really? i figured that would be an easy ticket after the MSG run. i’m having zero luck with tix since 3.0. WTF?
got 17th row for Philly night 1 (page side) and upper level for albany night 2 out of 8 shows requested.
I got two tix to cinci both nights. Thing is they are behind the stage and in the second level. Wasted $250.
I got 4 tickets for Friday night’s MSG show. Only request I made. Put my request in two hours before the deadline. First time using the lottery, usually sleep on it. Section 422, seats are high up but at 1 or 2 o’clock if the stage is 12 o’clock. Bottom line is: grateful, grateful, grateful.
Nothing since they’ve been back!!! What ever happened to mailing in a bunch of money orders and a doniac, or waiting in line at macys on Saturday mornings! It was mini phish lot at the mall!
Why not post the actual numbers for the responses instead of just the percentages.
I agree with posterNUTbag. Requested 2 tix for cincy night 2, got them, and then realized they are at the top behind the stage on page’s side. I also would have preferred to take my chances. Now I have 2 tix I don’t really want. How about the pre-sale folks make sure that pre-sale seats aren’t behind the freakin’ stage
Disappointed, but happy to hear that some folks got good seats for some of the shows
