Pavement Tickets On Sale Tomorrow
We’ve heard of selling tickets for shows up to eight months in advance of the event, but the news that tickets for the Pavement reunion show at SummerStage on September 21, 2010 will go on sale tomorrow takes the cake for longest time between show announcement & actual show.

Can you imagine buying tickets to an event that’s over a year away!?!?! Is one of the members of Pavement in dire need of cash or something?
Pavement guitarist Scott “Spiral Stairs” Kannberg spoke with Rob Sheffield at Rolling Stone about how the reunion came together “naturally.” He confirms the band is in talks with Coachella and that a tour is in the works. You could just about hear everyone in the indie world’s heads explode.

A pre-sale begins at 10:00 AM EDT on Friday, September 18, 2009 (tomorrow). The password for the pre-sale is ZOWEE . The general on-sale is slated for 10:00 AM EDT on Friday, September 25, 2009. Please note that tickets will be available without surcharges from the Nokia Theatre box office in Times Square and from Earwax at 218 Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg.
