  1. That is so gay I just got AIDS. I can’t think of anything weaker they could do, especially after folks bought plane tix, etc etc. Announcing the show at “8 sets”, and then switching one set from full on PHiSH to Trey McSqueak and the McSqueakersons is very disappointing…. if I wanted to hear boring hippie garbage I’d be on WSP tour.

  2. I’m excited to see something I haven’t seen before. I don’t know why there are so many people doggin and hatin both on this set idea and the fest in general. People need to chill, stop being ubersnobs and embrace this whole thing.

  3. How could anyone have a problem with an acoustic set? I can understand being a little against it if there were only 2-3 sets total…but 1 out of 8 acoustic is hardly something to be upset about….atleast I’d be able to stand still at a show for once. I’m not even going and I’m pumped for it….as for what will be played..? who cares? Just curious about the album to be played. Have fun and be safe to all those who are attending. MT

  4. DUDE King Friday you are the gayest thing i have ever came across!!!!! u should just not go so they’ll be more dancing room for everyone else…. you probably should change your flights to Austin there BUDDD

  5. There’s nothing worse than having negetive people come to the shows and complain about Phish. If an acoustic set pisses you off so much, don’t show up! The rest of us will have the time of our lives..again!

  6. The is my first time to reply. There is just something I really need to get off my chest. Some Phish fans are out of there minds. Whats so wrong with an acoustic set? Cann’t a band be free to perform and create there music as they choose? I think the whole festival is going to be amazing! The boys are back with the hearts in it. Be happy for these amazing musicians. AND STOP TRYING TO BE THEIR CREATIVE DIRECTORS. IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT DON’T ATTEND. Like Trey says “Gonna shrug demands off of me, Gonna dream, Gonna dream, Dream of being free”

  7. i think its fine they are gonna do an acoustic set but…. if they play bathtub gin acoustic and not electric, i’ll be pissed!!!! keep gin electric so we can hear a solid 20 minute rager!!!!!!!

  8. i wanna hear time turns elastic acoustically. their is a video on line of trey playing it on his acoustic, and it’s pretty badass, look it up and check it out. and i agree to the bathtub gin comment

  9. you guys are all completely ignorant… obviously you are not true Phish fans and obviously have no musical sense about you what so ever. anyone can plug an electric guitar in and make it sound good with synthesizers and pedals.. It takes true raw talent to play acoustic. I am a huge Phish fan and I am so stoked about the set. The harmonies they can produce with electric instruments are much different then the harmonies they can produce with acoustic material. I can’t wait to persopnally witness this anomally.. and If anyone is going to be negative about it I personally don’t think you deserve to be there… It’s like the situation with Bob Dylan when he went electric back in the sixties and everyone hated on him…

  10. An acoustic Gamehenge set would be the highlight of my life!!! Sorry to all the haters out there that obviously have no real history with this band. It’s like graffiti art, if you can’t read it…then it’s not for you! You should be more respectful of the band’s decisions. And of you can’t manage to do that, you should not post opinions or go to there shows…
