Phish @ Burgettstown – Setlist and Live Blog

We’re nearing the end of Phish’s first tour since reuniting and this evening the circus moves on to sleepy Burgettstown, PA for a return engagement at the Post-Gazette Pavilion. Earlier, Luke Sacks recapped the history between the band and the venue – formerly known as Star Lake. We’ve got Wade “Wyllys” Wilby on the ground in Burgettstown and he’ll be “Kenny Bloggins” live from the show for @YEMblog and Hidden Track.

  1. Classic early 90’s set. Love what these guys are doing. Perhaps a Coil to close the first set. Used to love when everyone would exit the stage except Paige and he would slowly finish the set. You know you were in for something wicked in the second set.
Sitting here and waiting to see where Walk Away leads. Nothing will ever compare with the Bomb Factory.

  3. To be fair, Jumbo, I was taking Wade’s tweets and posting them on the bottom of this article. He was writing his thoughts in 140 characters or less and I just compiled them.

  4. what a show! what energy!

star lake has never disappointed. this show was not an exception!

tons of old friends and tons of great bustouts!

thanks to the wilbiest Wade for taking time out of his busy Umph schedule to help out glide, HT and the YEM blog.

  5. In order for a tweet to be of any use to anyone else. shouldn’t it first be intelligible? In at least some commonly spoken parlance, if not in English? I might agree with Wade more if I understood what he was trying to convey.

Great show. Golgi opener is unmatched.
