Our friends at Scents and Subtle Sounds are celebrating next week’s release of Phish – Chicago ’94 with a listening party in the city where the 6-CD box set was recorded. The event will take place at aliveOne on 2683 North Halsted Street in Chicago this Saturday starting around 8PM. The cover is $20 which includes an open bar from 8 until 11. In addition to spinning tracks from the box set, event organizers will also be raffling off copies of Chicago ’94 with proceeds going towards The Waterwheel Foundation.
In other Chicago ’94 news, SiriusXM’s Jam_ON has turned this week’s Gone Phishin’ programming over to Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro who will spin sets from the soon-to-be-released box set. Gone Phishin’ airs weekdays at 9PM ET.
