Phish Fall Tour 2009: Public On Sales
If the ticket gods didn’t shine brightly on your internet order for Phish’s Fall Tour, you still have another shot at the valuable ducats – the dreaded public on sale dates. It’s time to put your years of ticket buying experience to good use as we all attempt to get the best seats possible.
On Friday, Syracuse and Charlottesville go on sale at 10AM via Ticketmaster. All three shows at Madison Square Garden go on sale at 11AM through Ticketmaster followed by both nights of Albany at Noon on Tickets.com. On Saturday, Portland goes on sale through Ticketmaster at 9AM, tickets for Detroit will be available at 10AM via Ticketmaster, both nights of Cincinnati are up at 11AM and both nights of Philly close down the action at Noon.
- 10AM: Syracuse, Charlottesville
- 11AM: MSG Night One, MSG Night Two, MSG Night Three
- Noon: Albany Night One, Albany Night Two

I tried for MSG 12/4 1st and got a great seat. But by the the time I was able to go for 12/2 and 12/3 they were gone. So I’ll be doing last 2 shows of tour since I scored charlottesville thru phish tix. Hoping to also pick up Philly tommorow.

I got up at 7:30 pacific and cleaned up my computer. Got on the Ticketbastard site and opened up a separate window for each MSG show. I got on the official US time website and right at 8:00:00 I hit refresh on all three windows, asked for one ticket and hit submit. Waiting…waiting….about 4 minutes in my heart sank: You have multiple windows open, close them and try again. DAMN! I had them open for different shows, that sucks it did that. Of course, by the time I got back on and did each one separately, they were long gone. Oh well, that’s $1,000 saved between tickets + flight + hotel + stuff.

Almost gave up for Syracuse and decided to try again for a single at 10:45ish. Got it! Couldn’t get through for 2nd night Albany :(

Pulled 1 single at 10:15 and then kept trying and pulled another single at 10:30 (for ‘cuse) So I got what I was looking for, sorta.

I got 2 for 12/3 MSG. This is the FIRST TIME in 2009 that I have successfully gotten Phush tickets through Ticketmaster. I had only ONE browser window open at a time and let it run its course until it timed out or I got tickets. I only had to resubmit once. Maybe this system works best, maybe I was jsut lucky. Either way, I was glad to get them.
