Phish to Release Free MP3s of Hampton
As we’ve mentioned a number of times over the past few weeks, it was quite curious that Phish didn’t release any details about the continuation of their Live Phish program for the upcoming shows in Hampton. We felt they had a trick up their sleeves and we finally got our answer – free MP3s!
In a likely nod to those who were unable to score tickets to this weekend’s shows, the band has decided to make official downloads of all three shows available free of charge via LivePhish.com. While the MP3s will be free, CDs and FLACs will also be available for a charge. I love this band.

Just brilliant marketing IMO – They are going to kill at these shows. Do you guys remember when the Dead got real big in the late 80s after touch of grey. Well, Phish are bigger then ever!
