Straight off a plane, Denson was the first guest to sit in with Soulive as he joined the trio for The Swamp, Rudy’s Way and Shaheed. Hall and Big Sam emerged next for Leave Me Alone, sung by Nigel, to end the first set. Razhel kept the crowd entertained during set break with a beat box session that included his signature song – If Your Mother Only Knew. Soulive joined the beatboxer for an I Am The Magnificent that started the second set. After that, Soulive treated the audience to a trifecta of Beatles covers from Rubber Soulive – Come Together, Eleanor Rigby and I Want You (She’s So Heavy). Following a take on Too Much that featured Lenesha Randolph of Robert Randolph and the Family Band, ?uestlove hopped behind the kit for Signed Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder. All of the evening’s guests lent a hand to a Tuesday Night Squad show closer that contained James Brown’s Bewildered in the middle.
