Among the highlights were Bill Evans, who’s no stranger to the Beacon from his multiple sit ins with the Allmans, guesting on Example 1, an outstanding Ocean Billy in the first set and UM’s third-ever performance of their Life During Exodus mashup which combines parts of Bob Marley’s Exodus, Life During Wartime by Talking Heads and Zappa’s City of Tiny Lites. HT photo editor Jeremy Gordon was on hand at the pitless venue and has shared a selection of his shots from Umphrey’s Beacon debut.
