POSTPONED: Trey Anastasio @ Capitol Theatre
For those of us in the path of the impending “Frankenstorm” that’s all you’ve been hearing about for the past few days. Earlier this morning NY Gov. Cuomo announced that the MTA would shut down at 7PM tonight, including the Metro-North, which would make it tough for many to travel to tonight’s Trey Anastasio show at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York.
The Cap’s website has just been updated with word that the show has been POSTPONED. The show has been rescheduled for Monday, November 5th.
Due to the arrival of Hurricane Sandy and New York’s decision to cancel public transportation, tonight’s Trey Anastasio Band concert at The Capitol Theatre will not take place.
We are all deeply disappointed but this decision was made with the safety of our fans in mind. We are currently working to reschedule this date and hope to achieve this soon. Please check back on our website for more information.

How about the band finds a studio to play and still webcasts for all of the fans bunkered down in the area and elsewhere?
i left at 8am it was beautiful. checked at noonish just to make sure about the show. still no rea word real and about an hour from the venue. then the word comes down resceduled! AHHH 5 hours there 5 back and NO Trey. Had a good feeling when they announced public trains would be shut down but without a confirmation we couldt turn around we were at the point of no return! I love TAB and want to see this band in this theater BAD. So when the news came down and the fact that we took a risk a slight one because it was beautiful ALL day!AND they said only rain till LATE monday night (which is going to be what happens) To this point right now its warm and I live in Platssburgh Ny so they def coulda had this concert but ALWAYS SAFE THAN SORRY! If they thought even 1 person would get hurt due to weather then they did the right thing. Would I have like to see trey tonight? Yes! did I drive over 12hrs for no reason?? YES!! Will I see you ALL Monday Nov 5th??? YES!!!
