Programming Note: Moving On – This Has All Been Wonderful…

Next Monday, July 8, will mark my last day as the Editor-in-chief of Hidden Track. In the nearly seven years since we launched Hidden Track on October 16, 2006; we’ve published more than 11,000 posts for our readers. I’ll be moving on, along with many of the incredible contributors who have provided much of the wonderful content we’ve had the pleasure of sharing over the years, to helm JamBase’s editorial efforts.

Our friends at Glide Magazine will have more information about the future of Hidden Track soon. We couldn’t have asked for a better host as the Glide Team really let us do our thing in building HT and we’re excited to see what they have in store for the main site and beyond.

So, we’ll continue pumping out articles until next Monday, at which point I’ll take two weeks off (with the exception of our Phish The Skinny Recaps, which will run on JamBase starting this Wednesday and for each show the quartet plays this summer) before starting full-time at JamBase on Monday, July 22. It’s our aim to infuse the same spirit found here in our efforts over at JamBase and you’ll find many of the columns and contributors you’ve come to love.

We’ll keep you updated on the move via our team’s Facebook and Twitter feeds.

I love JamBase’s concert calendar and use it constantly. The quality of their articles do not come close to the quality of their extra features. I’m looking forward to y’all bringing your professional and creative talents to JamBase.

Best of luck and Thank you!

  10. Thanks for all the HT work Scott! Will you still keep up with YEM blog? Excited to have you writing on JamBase. It has lacked something since Dennis Cook left and I know you are the guy who can bring the magic back.

  11. Scotty B., you are a gentleman and a scholar. I have high hopes that you’ll make Jambase the beacon for our scene you’ve built HT to be. They are lucky to have you (and I hope they’re paying you well).

    Cheers!

  13. Scotty, you brought me into the ‘scene’ with this website. Thank you for everything.

I do have one question. Did you write the Widespread Panic press release regarding the pay per view of Red Rocks that included the saying “Cut The Cables”?

Thanks again for the great website, and I look forward to following you and everyone else on Jambase!
