Pullin’ ‘Tubes: Albert Hammond Jr.’s GfC

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of being invited out to an private show by Albert Hammond Jr. at New York’s Mercury Lounge to celebrate the release of his second solo disc ¿Como Te Llama? The Strokes guitarist played a tight hour long set that featured material mostly from his latest release to a crowd that included the likes of Kirsten Dunst, James Iha, and Adam Schlesinger (of FoW).

Hammond’s latest is full of psychedelic-tinged modern rock, which is sort of perfect for driving around with the top down this summer. Check out the video for the first single off of ¿Como Te Llama?, GfC…
