We’re taking a page out of Tabitha Soren’s book for the theme of today’s Pullin’ Tubes. We figure she’s been out of work for some time now, so she can help us highlight some Buzz Bin worthy clips making the rounds. Plus, we always thought she was much cuter than Serena Altschul and Adam Curry. These are a few of the coolest tunes and their respective videos making the rounds off some recent album releases. Sadly, you won’t see them on MTV these days.

Our fearless leader Ace may have stepped down from the podium, but rest assured we haven’t forgotten where we came from. Check out this sick promo video for Marco Benevento’s Invisible Baby, set to the music of Bus Ride. If Reed Mathis’ head banging doesn’t get you pumped up, we simply can’t help you. Read on for videos by Marco Benevento, moe. and Matt Costa…

Marco Benevento – Bus Ride

moe. – Raise a Glass

In retrospect, I can’t believe nobody thought of this incredible idea sooner. moe. concocted themselves one masterpiece of an Irish drinking song, in collaboration with the boys from Umphrey’s McGee. Since the day Sticks and Stones dropped, moe. has literally encored every show (except for a couple of in-stores) by inviting a crew of fans up on stage to sing, stomp, clap and generally gump out to their new pride and joy. And who can blame them? Raise a Glass was made for the encore slot, and I can’t wait to get some beer poured on my head during one in the near future.

Matt Costa – Mr. Pitiful

We don’t suppose you recognize this guy from anywhere? Despite the fact that Matt Costa has graced us with his presence at the top of this page for the last few weeks, we haven’t really mentioned him or his new album. Let’s change that right now. Costa followed up his listenable-from-end-to-end album, Songs We Sing, with another strong effort in Unfamiliar Faces. The big hit video from that album, Mr. Pitiful, exhibits quirky side as he concocts his one man band marching band apparatus and well, marches. If last year’s Bowery Ballroom show is any indication, Costa is gonna be a big dreamboat superstar before too long. It might be worth seeing him while it’s still low key – unless of course you’re into underage girls.
