Last night for the second time in a four month span I had a chance to take in a set from Seattle folk-rockers Fleet Foxes. For only their second visit to the Big Apple (and first as a headliner) the band impressively sold out the Bowery Ballroom, where they played to an enthusiastic crowd that hung on every beautifully sung harmony and the laid-back, humble demeanor of frontman Robin Pecknold.
Since MTV was also on-hand last night I thought I’d use this opportunity to play VJ and show you their debut music video, and the song that received one of the night’s biggest ovations, White Winter Hymnal…

The band is currently in the midst of a world tour that sees them stopping by Brooklyn’s intimate Union Hall tonight, where Pecknold announced that they had added a second midnight show for those that got shut out of the earlier one.
