You can always count on Perpetual Groove’s Amberland festivals to be an incredible musical experience, but this year’s event has just taken on an all-new special meaning for fans. Amberland 2008, to be held on May 23-25 in Lafayette, GA, will be keyboardist Matt McDonald’s last shows with the band.
After seven years in PGroove McDonald is ready to move on. You can read Matt’s letter to his fans over at his blog. PGroove will continue as a trio with the possible addition of guest performers at various appearances throughout the summer. We’re gonna pay tribute to Matt’s work with PGroove by sharing a clip of Two Shores from the band’s lone arena gig at the Little John Coliseum in Clemson:
