The one and only Mike Gordon unveiled his new rock band last night at the Iron Horse in Northampton. According to a report on Jambands.com Mike’s quintet debuted most of the material from The Green Sparrow (due out on August 5) as well as covers of She Said, She Said and Ain’t Love Funny.
The Mike Gordon Band closed the festivities with a feisty version of Meat that segued into Dig Further Down from the new album. Here’s a killer clip shot by sweetjonny of Meat and the segue that we saw over at the Coventry blog:
