This evening, a number of A-List rock bands and celebrities will pay tribute to The Who as VH-1 airs Rock Honors 2008 at 9PM. Pearl Jam, The Flaming Lips, the Foo Fighters, Incubus and Tenacious D all performed Who classics. The Who themselves ended the night with a long and reportedly tight set of their own.

Pearl Jam has been covering Baba O’Riley for over 15 years and they added Love Reign O’er Me to their live repertoire last year after recording a version of the song for the 2007 film Reign Over Me. Eddie and the boys covered Love Reign O’er Me at the Rock Honors taping on Saturday night, but they also busted out another classic from Quadrophenia. Here’s Pearl Jam playing The Real Me:
