Nobody symobolizes the testosterone-laced force and all-out aggression of football quite like Prince. But, seriously, what the man lacks in masculine facial hair and body type, he more than makes up for with sheer fucking incredible talent.

Did you see him rip that shit up last night? Did you see that? In the driving rain of Miami, in a strangely corporate environment, Prince lit up the night sky with an electric short set that coulda been filmed for his next great music video (albeit on an old tune). How did he not get electrocuted out there? Well, if you missed it for any reason, here’s the last part of his ripping little show, Purple Rain:

At the time I questioned the strange Foo Fighters cover thrown in the middle there, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt because he’s basically flawless.

Slade Sohmer

In 2006 Slade Sohmer founded Hidden Track along with current EiC Scott Bernstein. Slade ran the site until 2008, establishing a scope of coverage and level of professionalism that still exists today.
