I've seen these guys 5 times over the last two years, and they really are great musicians. I've had a blast at each of the shows.

2008 will be a big year for RRE!

Review of the previous night (at the Fillmore Brand Stapled to the TLA):
They came out high energy
The large crowd responded with non-stop dancing and gigantic waves of energy
The energy in the room reached a harmonic feedback loop: band>crowd>>band>>>crowd>>>>band!

The crowd exploded in delight and brought them back for multiple encores.

Everyone left in a euphoric, satisfied state...
Yeah, just another typical Railroad Earth show.

Come on down to Stroudsburg on the 23rd and jump aboard this train!

The reason there were less Hobos at Irving Plaza then last time is that Phil & Friends were playing a sold out show @ The Nokia.

I've been wanting to see these guys for a while now. I was hoping to see them in October at Ram's Head in Baltimore but then they moved it to the venue's smaller "tavern"-like table-seating venue in Annapolis.

In 2008 my goal is to see them.

Soundwise, these guys are like a colorful Yonder Mountain. Definitely more variety, more listenable, imo.
