Review: Lotus and Telepath @ Irving Plaza

It’s not too often you get a chance to see the bookends of a tour. With many of the fans having made it out to September’s Mercury Lounge show, it was amazing to not only watch songs grow and mature, but the band as well. With three studio albums under their belt, Lotus has begun to feature their three-pronged guitar attack heavily with a post-rock/indie sound, allowing them to increase their fanbase. They have recently been featured on the cover of Pollstar and have long outgrown the Bowery Ballroom and it seems soon even Irving Plaza.
