One of the best bassists out there.

I was at the benefit the other day. a little over an hour into the show i had some kind of seizure. My neurologist says the reason for this was excessive alcohol consumption and marijuana intake. I like to think it was caused by Steve Bernstein's trumpet solo. The complex melodies literally blew my mind. Great show other than the seizure and leaving the show early. Bummed I missed the duo and kras play together, but at least i will be seeing benevento and kras play together next weekend at sullivan hall.

I saw Soulive open up for Dave Matthews Band on 7.28.06, and Eric Krasno absolutely blew me away with his playing. They covered California Love (with Kras on the talkbox) and The Ocean (with Reggie Watts on vocals). He just blew me away with his playing. He ended up guesting with DMB later on in the show, on Smooth Rider, a song I don't normally like. He had an awesome solo to start the song and then later in the jam.

I know that was very off-topic but, i figured that was my encounter with Soulive and Eric Krasno's incredible playing.

Nice review Neddy, sounds like a great time.

great review neddy.

for a dude whose faves include: "bustle", lettuce, duo, soulive, worrell and sco, you can be certain I almost drove 4 hours for this.

your conversational-tone did this night justice, apparently.

would love to get my hands on this audio. (wink, nudge)
