R.I.P.: Bo Diddley [1928-2008]
We’d like to take a moment to recognize the life and music of Bo Diddley, who passed away this morning at his home in Florida. Bo was a true musical pioneer.

In may days working for a popular television network that used to televise “video hits,” I had the opportunity to speak with Bo about rock ‘n’ roll history. Let’s just say I doubt Mr. Diddley or the Diddley family spent a whole lot of time worshipping at Graceland’s shrine. RIP, Bo. If there ever was someone who was licensed to carry Sam Jackson’s wallet from “Pulp Fiction,” it sure as shit was you.
