Rolling Stones @ London 02 Arena #2 – Setlist

The Rolling Stones have just stepped off stage at the 02 Arena in London for their second of two shows at the venue that have opened the 50 & Counting Tour. While tonight’s setlist featured many similarities to what they played on Sunday, there were some notable changes. First off, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine took over Mary J. Blige’s role in singing Gimme Shelter. Also, instead of having Jeff Beck out to perform on Going Down like they did on Sunday, Eric Clapton emerged to tackle Muddy Waters’ (via McKinley Morganfield) Champagne and Reefer. Both Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman rocked on the same songs they played on earlier this week.

The Last Time saw action for its run debut as did Lady Jane which was performed for the first time since Brian Jones passed away in 1969. In fact, the last one was thought to have taken place in 1967 – 45 years ago! Let It Bleed track Live With Me got the call for its initial 50 and Counting performance along with Satisfaction.
