When the String Cheese Incident announced their comeback earlier this year, they mentioned they’d be shying away from typical tours to focus on special events. For SCI’s final shows of 2010 they have planned two shows at the Hampton Coliseum on October 29 and 30 billed as Hulaween 2010.
The Disco Biscuits will open for Cheese on the 29th while the 30th will be an evening with String Cheese Incident featuring three sets at the legendary venue. Tickets go onsale on the headiest date of the year, 4/20, through the band’s website with $.25 from every ticket sold to these shows will go to support three not-for-profit organizations close to the SCI community: HeadCount, Rex Foundation, and Conscious Alliance. Other shows on the docket for String Cheese are a three-night run at Red Rocks on July 23 – 25 and a three nights at Horning’s Hideout on July 29 – August 1.
