Setlist: Gene Ween Band @ Mexicali

The Gene Ween Band featuring Scott Metzger on guitar, “Diamond” Dave Dreiwitz on bass and “Sir” Joe Russo on drums made their debut last night at Mexicali Blues in Teaneck, NJ. The gents mixed random covers, old Ween songs and a number of quirky new originals Gener wrote.

Let’s Get Divorced

The quartet heads to Towson, MD tonight for a show at the Recher before moving on to D.C. for Friday night’s show at The Black Cat. On Saturday, Gener and friends rock The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park. Also on tap for the Gene Ween Band are performances at World Cafe Live in Philly on Tuesday, the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Wednesday and the finale at NYC’s Highline Ballroom one week from today.
