Local boy Mike Gordon brought his solo band to the Somerville Theatre last night for the second show of their tour. The group busted out covers of Leonard Cohen’s Who By Fire and Coldplay’s God Put A Smile On My Face along with the forgotten GRAB tune, Suskind Hotel.

Surprisingly, both shows of the tour have sold out, so if you plan on seeing Mike be sure to buy your tickets in advance. Gordon and his ensemble bring their show to Portland, ME’s Port City Music Hall tonight.

That is one polite stage jumper/dancer, she at least knows not to venture too close to any gear…
This show did NOT sell out. Extras were readily available below face before show. I paid $15.
Show was solidly: MEH.
Technically, I think it was sold out.
nice : ) i don t think my mind has left the 20 min suskind hotel from lupo s yet tho..
Suskind Hotel!!!!
I really really hope that they can bring this back with Phish. By far my favorite post-breakup song by any of the members.
Agreed Jesse. It’s wild how hard it is for Mike & Page material to cross the barrier into the Phish repertoire.
It took 7 years for Middle Of The Road to become a Phish tune.
Suskind Hotel, Another Door, Andelman’s Yard, Hapnappy, these would all be great Phish tunes.
Only A Dream too, it’s obvious that Phish recorded it, it’s on Party Time – just can’t seem to make it to the stage.
I thought the show was pretty good. second half of set had some great grooves. scott’s guitar playing is solid and he seems very comfortable. listen hear if you don’t want to download the torrent: http://drop.io/phishspac (Added as filler to Saratoga page)
