A new festival called Shaky Knees will be held in Atlanta and May 4th and 5th and we’re big fans of the initial lineup that’s just been announced. The varied lineup includes HT faves Band Of Horses, The Lumineers, Drive-By Truckers, Gary Clark Jr., Lucero, Dr. Dog, Moon Taxi and Jim James. Joy Formidable, Delta Spirit, Kurt Vile & The Violators and Heartless Bastards are among the other bands on the bill.
The first annual Shaky Knees Music Festival will take place in Atlanta’s Historic Fourth Ward Park and the Masquerade Music Park. Two-day General Admission Tickets cost a reasonable $99, while Paste Magazine VIP 2-Day Tickets will set you back $265. Both types of tickets go on sale this Thursday, February 7, at 10AM ET. A late night concert, for which attendees will need a separate $10 ducat, features The Black Angels and Goat.
