since you have all that mooolah, why not let a small outfit put your cd out. oh, oh, thats right, so the boring music crowd can buy your boring adult contemporary cds because a major company tells them “hey, this is good, you should buy it to look cool” come on!

Between an album called “Shine” being released on Hear Music, a band covering The Simpsons theme song yesterday, and an alleged meeting of former Pork Tornado drummer John Fishman, former Vida Blue front man Page McConnell, Leo Kotchke’s old bassist Mike Gordon, and 70 Volt Parade guitarist Trey Anastasio to discuss the possibility of forming a supergroup themselves for a show in Manchester, TN, I’d go so far as to say The Brahphracy is just a short “Phil picks his ‘Friends’: Former Kingfish lead singer Bob Weir, scuba diving enthusiast Bill Kreutzman, and Planet Drummer Mickey Hart” leap away from getting fulfilled.

It will be interesting to see what Joni has left in the tank after nine years without releasing an album of new material. Mitchell’s music seems to thrive during times of war, and perhaps this is the perfect time for her comeback.
