Stormy Mondays: A Farewell to Spring
Summer is just around just around the bend, so Stormy Mondays bids the spring a fond farewell with a mix of songwriterly pieces, kicking off with the grandmaster, Bob Dylan, with Beyond Here Lies Nothing, from his new disc.

One of the surprise treats from The Dead’s tour was the upbeat version of Ship of Fools, and here’s a sweet one from MSG. Next is Bobby Lee and the Codetalkers from ‘05 when Jimmy Herring was with the band, with a stellar version of the great, great song Body in the Lake. Nathan Moore and The Slip first toured as Surprise Me Mr. Davis many years ago, and in anticipation of their upcoming new release, and from that initial tour, we have Summer of My Fall. To close things out, and cast you off into warmer weather, is the culmination of Bill Laswell’s Sacred System dub quartet, from The Book of Exit, Jerusalem. As always, Enjoy.
