Very early in Frank Zappa’s career, way back in 1967, the soon-to-be legendary musician/composer provided the soundtrack for an animated TV commercial advertising Luden’s cough drops. According to the ad’s animator/producer Ed Seeman, FZ was paid $2,000 for his troubles.
