My favorite day of the year. The day when we get to play everybody’s favorite fun game…Name Your New Orleans band! The rules are simple. Just choose any combination of the following: The word “Big,” One-syllable male name, last name that ends in “-eauxueaux”, All-stars, Nation, Zydeco, Brass, Creole, an instrument, Chief, and something that sounds French.

I’ll go first: Big Bill’s Zydeco Creole Allstars featuring Louis Armoir’s Trombone Nation.
