Televised Tune: MSG Debuts Soulive at Brooklyn Bowl

We’re running this weekend’s edition of Televised Tune early to kill two birds with one stone.

Each Friday night during the summer, after the Knicks and Rangers seasons have finished, the MSG Network airs concert films from a wide variety of artists. Tomorrow night MSG will debut a two-hour special entitled Soulive and Friends Live at Brooklyn Bowl at 9PM ET featuring footage from the group’s 10-show Bowlive run this past February. Count HT faves Karl Denson, Lettuce, Nigel Hall, Ivan Neville and Robert Randolph among the guests who made the cut for inclusion in the program. And might as well tune in to MSG at 8 to catch a re-airing of the Steely Dan – Rent Party mini-documentary.
