David Letterman will end his summer hiatus with three solid musical guests this week. On Tuesday he will welcome Coldplay and on Wednesday Wilco stops by for a visit. Jeff Tweedy and Company also will play the Ed Sullivan Theater in a special Live on Letterman performance Wednesday night after taping wraps. Former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell will appear on the show Thursday.
