The audience may not have heard the end of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’s performance of Twist & Shout with Paul McCartney at last month’s Hard Rock Calling festival in London’s Hyde Park, but TV cameras captured the whole thing even after the police made organizers pull the plug. Palladia will air the U.S. television premiere of a two-hour Hard Rock Calling 2012 two-hour special on Saturday evening at 9PM ET. If you don’t have Palladia to watch it in its high-definition glory, tune in to VH1 for a simulcast. In addition to the pair of tunes performed by The Boss and Macca, the special also features performances by Paul Simon, Soundgarden, John Fogerty, Lady Antebellum, Christina Perri, Tom Morello, Allison Krauss, the Punch Brothers and Iggy & the Stooges.
